about

The southern side of the City of Toronto faces the shore of Lake Ontario, and while not as heavily polluted as it used to be during the industrial era, it still faces challenges in the area of disposable garbage. But there are citizens doing something to alleviate the ongoing issue of seeing garbage pollute the shores of their fair city. This video highlights one of those champion citizens. Taking matters in to his own hands, Alan Roy, with the help and support of the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), has organized shoreline clean-ups for many years. This video captures the inspiring and admirable effort this Watershed Champion delivers every year.
