about

Black Creek Pioneer Village has been operating for over 40 years. It is a living museum showcasing how life was like before electricity. Everything that is done at the Village honours the ways of the early settlers. The Village has interpreters dressed in the same way as the early settlers. The interpreters run demonstrations, such as baking, iron works, printing press and weaving. The Village officially opens to the public every year at the end of April. It runs a series of family oriented programming events throughout its opening season. This video is meant to promote what is happening at the Village for the Spring season.
