about
The Sustainable Neighbourhood Retrofit Action Plan (SNAP), since renamed to Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Program, was developed by Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) "to help municipalities improve efficiencies, draw strong local community support and build trust for long-term engagement as they implement a broad range of climate change-related urban renewal initiatives in the public and private realms.*
The logo depicts a neighbourhood corner as seen from the air, and takes the compass as it's inspiration: To the east and west are homes, to the north a forest/trees, and to the south a body of water. These elements are important for a neighbourhood to flourish within an already established ecosystem.
