Downtown Yonge BIA

about

Downtown Yonge Business Improvement Area (Downtown Yonge BIA) is a collection of businesses bounded by Grosvenor St. (N), Church St. (E), Richmond St. (S), and Bay St. (W). The businesses work together to make Yonge Street a vibrant place to live, eat, shop and experience cultural events. The bounded area is just called Downtown Yonge, and its logo, identity branding and signage/wayfinding system was designed by the renowned agency of Gottschalk+Ash International (now part of Entro Communications).

When presented at participating businesses, the customer would show the card and receive a discount. The card had unlimited use, and the customer would be able to return to the same business and continue receiving discount(s) for each visit. As seen in my short Instagram video, the customer simply snaped the card off its holder and was ready for use.
